Concrete Contractor Facility

The company that hired Indigenous Landscaping Inc. is well-organized, successful, and leading in a lot of ways when it comes to just about any concrete installation application. We were excited when they asked us to design for their new facility. The first phase was general landscaping and the completion of the frontage area, the second phase was a series of limestone landscape beds on the West Slope, and the third phase was a small par-three with a putting green and multiple chipping areas at the back of the property to the South.

I, however, had left the company before any phases began, but it still remains as one of my largest scale designs and one of my favorites. I learned that the freedom a blank slate offers a designer is immense and that it’s easy to get ahead of yourself. I had to make sure there was a balance between the initial scope of what the client wanted, while also offering a design to the height of my ability, and what the area could stand to show.
